Here are, in order, the Top 10 dream cars of the SupercarWorld team. Click on the car name or photo for more details. Don't agree? Then look at the bottom of the page to do something about it!

1. Lamborghini Countach

The most astounding looking car ever made, 30 years on and its still turning heads today! It may not be as sophisticated as its modern counterparts but the Countach knocks them dead for raw power and presence. We all wanted  one as a kid ... we still  want one!

2. Ferrari F355

The greatest car in the world, ever? Probably. To have looks and performance like this in a car you can use every day is a dream come true. Rosso Corsa with Crema Leather would be the classic combination and stick with the manual gearbox option.

3. Porsche 993 Turbo S

The best all weather supercar there is. Crushing performance and total reliability make the Porsche perfect for a blast during the long, miserable British winter. The 996 Turbo is a fine piece of machinery but the 993 gets our vote every time. Maybe the 997 Turbo will get our vote when it arrives.

4. Lamborghini Gallardo

Stunning looks, superb 500bhp performance and a 'competitive' price add up to a superb all round package. Add to that the reliability of parent company Audi and you wonder why anyone pays £50k more for a Murcielago. Yellow with Black leather and e-gear please!

5. Mercedes SL55 AMG

The AMG enhanced Mercedes SL55 is surely one of the most desirable cars the world has ever seen. It seems to have everything. Dazzling good looks, extraordinary performance and the piecé de resistance, an electric folding hardtop, turning it from a coupe to a convertible at the touch of a button.

6. Ferrari F40

Arguably the greatest drivers car ever made. Incredible performance, purposeful styling and unequalled desirability. When you feel the need for speed this would be the ultimate track day car. And when you didn't, just sit back and admire it's incredible looks.

7. Bugatti Veyron

The fastest car ever made. 1000bhp, 253mph top speed and 0-60mph in an unbelievable 2.5sec. Couple this with stunning looks and possibly the best  interior around and you have the ultimate supercar. Only it's insane £800,000 price tag stops it being further up this list.

8. Ferrari 512BB

The Berlinetta Boxer is one of  the most beautiful Ferraris ever made. You could stand for hours just drooling over the gorgeous Pininfarina lines. It may have been surpassed for driving dynamics but to own one as a classic work of art is reason enough.

9. Koenigsegg CC8s

Gorgeous bodywork (especially from the back), a low kerb weight and a 655bhp V8 endow the CC with crushing performance. At 245mph, Koenigsegg claim to be faster than both an F1 and an Enzo, while comfortably beating them both on price.

10. Ford GT

It may be based on a 40 year old design but the Ford GT represents one of the most remarkable shapes ever to adorn a sportscar. Ford have bought the classic Le Mans winner bang up to date with a mighty 500bhp V8 and handling to match. The only tough decision is whether to go for red with white stripe or classic 'Gulf' orange and blue.

"What?!", I hear you say, "no McLaren F1, no Ferrari Enzo - what's the matter with you!"
Well we have our reasons, and here they are :-

McLaren F1 - fast but not value for money Porsche Carrera GT - excellent, our #13
Ferrari Enzo - stunning but see above! Ferrari 575 - better with age but just ok
Ferrari F430 - superb, just outside at  #12 Aston Martin Vanquish - stylish but heavy
Porsche 997 - best 911 but prefer the 993 Lamborghini Murcielago - Gallardo is better
Pagani Zonda - not worth two Lamborghinis Bentley Continental - gorgeous, our #11
Dodge Viper - too raw but has character TVR Tuscan - so good but so fragile
Noble M12 - exciting, but so so styling Lotus - Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious!
