A Brief History
Supercar newcomers Pagani have taken the establishment by storm with some of the most stunning, desirable performance cars available today.
Argentinian Horacio Pagani founded the company in 1992, quickly establishing himself in Modena alongside supercar legends Lamborghini and Ferrari. Indeed Pagani was formerly employed by Lamborghini and worked on the Countach Anniversary and Diablo.
Pagani's first supercar, the Zonda, was testament to Horatio's skills in working with carbon fibre, which has since become a trademark of their beatifully sculpted vehicles. Engines were supplied by Mercedes, who were introduced to Pagani through his friendship with legendary F1 champion Juan Manuel Fangio. The Zonda went on to spawn many derivatives inclusing the highly desirable Cinque and the awesome track only Zonda R.
As the Zonda went on to match if not surpass rivals from Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini, so the crown has passed to Pagani's latest jewel, the mouth watering Huayra. An AMG V12 gives the £1 milion hypercar over 750bhp.
