  Ferrari 365 GT4 BB  (1973 - 1976)

Profile

The 365 BB heralded a change in direction by Ferrari. Out went the traditional front engined design (as seen in the BB's predecessor, the Daytona) and in came the race developed mid engined layout which would remain the supercar layout of choice into the next century.

The beautiful lines of Pininfarina's stunning bodywork flowed over a powerful flat 12 boxer engine developing no less than 380bhp, thrusting the BB to a standing Km in 24 seconds - Fast even today, but astounding back in 1973.

However, the looks and performance came at a price. Luggage space was almost zero and the quality of the interior fittings was not commensurate with a car of this price. All in all though, a stunning piece of machinery!
