Profile |

The Vantage Zagato was Aston Martin's second collaboration with Italian stylists Zagato, following belatedly on from the muscular DB4GT of the early 60's. Just 50 would be built, plus 35 Volante convertibles, all using the V8 Vantage engine modified to no less than 435bhp.
Zagato achieved an astonishing 0.31 drag co-efficient thanks to flush fitting glass and ancillary components and added their own distinctive look with the prominent bonnet power bulge.
Considering the state of the market in the late eighties, the Zagato, at £87,000 could be considered as value for money!
