Profile |
|
Ferrari's first front engined supercar since the Daytona, the 550 Maranello offers it's occupants relaxed, near 200mph performance. A spacious cabin and practical boot space is the benefit of rejecting the traditional mid-engined layout, while an excellent chassis gives the 550 handling not normally associated with a front engined supercar.
F1 development brings superb braking from heat insulated 4-pot callipers along with the option of a racing style paddle-shift gearchange.
2002 saw the introduction of the 550 Barchetta Pininfarina, bringing full open top motoring to Ferrari's 12 cylinder flagship for the first time in nearly 30 years.
