Like the Audi TT, the Plymouth Prowler was one of those fantastic prototype show cars that actually made it through to production.
Styled by Chrysler's Tom Gale, and influenced by his love of Hot Rods, the prowler first saw light at the 1993 Detroit Motor Show, finally making production in 1997. Power was upped to 253bhp from 1998 giving the Prowler decent if not spectacular performance.
Featuring exposed front suspension and massive 20 inch rear wheels the Prowler was surely a unique offering in the supercar market, available only by personal import in the UK.
