2020 sees Ferrari introduce a companion GT to the soft-top Portofino (and little brother to the 812 Superfast) in the form of the stylish Roma GT.
Based on the Portofino platform, the Roma is powered by the same twin-turbo V8, but boosted a liitle to 620hp. Drive is channeled through the new 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox first seen in the SF90. It's fractionally quicker than the Portofino with a 3.2 sec 0-60mph sprint, but has an identical 199mph top speed.
As is becoming the norm for modern supercars, the Roma features a whole bunch of electronic driver aids like EPS, VDC, VBD, F1-TSC, EDiff and SSC - whatever they all mean?!
The Roma has stylish good looks from any angle, but not too sure about the new front grille design. The interior is a step on from previous gen Ferrari's with it's SF90 style digital dashboards.
Highly desirable at the £171k asking price, even if it was originally supposed to be a Maserati!
Ferrari launched a Spider version in 2023.
