Profile |

Revealed at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show, the 997.2 Turbo S was probably the fastest everyday usable supercar around.
An extra 30 bhp was boosted from the Turbo's 3.8 litre flat-6, along with a (now) continuous 516 lbft of torque. Transmitted through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (unlike the Turbo, there was no manual option), this dropped the 0-60mph time to a claimed 3.1 sec (although 2.9sec has been achived in road tests). Stopping power was equally impressive, with the fitment of Carbon brakes as standard.
Although retailing at a respectible £120k when new, this was still around £20k more than the already superb 'standard' Turbo - although you did get lots of extra kit. Probably worth it though, for the scarcity alone.
