As the Performante gave a track hardened edge to the original LP610, the Huracan STO follows suit by enhancing the Huracan Evo.
The STO (Super Trofeo Omologato) is, according to Lamborghini, as close as possible to a homologated road going version of their gnarly Super Trofeo race car. Performance is little different to the Evo or the Performante before it (all with the same 631bhp V10) but the big difference is in the aero. The large adjustable rear wing and enhanced diffuser provide exra downforce, which coupled with the adoption of rear-wheel drive, make for the definitive driver's Huracan.
A roll cage, ceramic brakes and carbon buckets show the primary intent of the STO as a track car, particularly in the 'Gulf' like launch colour scheme, infinitely adjustable through Lambo's Ad Peronum division.
At around £250k + options, the STO sits right up there with the GT3 RS, 765LT and AMG GT Black Series. All great cars, but in reality only of use as a track toy, being too compromised for serious road use.
