More than 15 years after the MC12, their last great supercar, the beautiful MC20 signals Maserati's triumphant return to the performance car fold.
The mid-engined Nettuno 3-litre V6 engine produces 630hp, a match for Maserati's fabled MC12, but beats it for torque with a whopping 730Nm. The 0-60mph sprint takes an impressive 2.7 seconds, while top speed is well north of 200mph. 390mm six-piston ceramic brakes as standard ensure it stops as well as it goes.
While the excellent handling is no suprise, the fantastic V6 engine note certainly is. Right up there with any of Porsche's GT products.
Some may call the looks understated, but it's that simplicity with perfect proportions that make the MC20 stand out from the crowd.
Stunning looks, great performance and a real driver's car, the MC20 has it all. Even at a list price in the UK of £190k, Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche better watch their backs!
