There's no doubting the latest 992 generation GT3 is an impressive achievement, but perhaps Porsche have gone a little too far this time.
No problem with the mighty 510hp unleashed at a screaming 8400rpm, or the resulting 0-60mph in 3 seconds flat (faster than even Porsche claim) and a top speed just shy of 200mph. The issue is with the ride. It's extremely hard and skittish (especially on UK roads) and would have perhaps been better suited to the forthcoming RS. Remember, the GT3 is supposed to be the road biased racer. The RS is the all-out track biased car.
Nevertheless, this hasn't stopped the huge demand for the GT3 pushing up used prices way beyond their new rrp.
