The 991 iteration of the GT3 was introduced at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
At a screaming 9000rpm redline, the GT3 pushes out 475hp for a 3 second 0-60mph sprint. Top speed gets even closer to the 200mph barrier at 196mph. The 991 generation also came with a raft of high tech features including Porsche's excellent 7-speed PDK gearbox and rear wheel steering. These systems were major contributors to the GT3's superb 7:25 Nurburgring lap time.
The 991.1 was not without it problems though, as Porsche issued recalls and subsequent extended warranties for engine bolt failures. These problems were resolved for the 991.2 model.
