The 1968 Pininfarina designed P6 was the design forerunner to Ferrari's BB supercar of the 1970's - their first flagship road car to feature a mid-engined layout.
Based on a Dino 206S chassis, the P6 was designed to house a 3-litre 400hp V12 with 5-speed manual transmission, however no engine was actually fited to this concept.
The Fioravanti styled bodywork was substantially unchanged in the production BB, save for the fixed headlights, secondary side windows and rear mounted slats. The interior was quite conventional, at odds with the extravagant concept designs of the period.
The P6 can now be found at the Pininfarina Museum in Italy.
