First seen as a 2019 concept, the production ready Delage D12 hybrid was launched in 2021, with GT version for road and Club version for track.
Powered by a bespoke 7.6 litre V12 with electic assistance, the D12 kicks out a combined 1100hp, enough for a claimed top speed of over 224mph. However, the D12 is all about the aero. With huge grip and downforce from the F1 look-alike carbon-fibre body, the D12 is expected to challenge for the road legal Nurburgring record in 2023. Even the wheels are carbon-fibre, with built in brake cooling fins.
The interior matches the exterior for drama, with access via a canopy to the 1+1 tandem seating, and a unique moulded joystick steering 'wheel'.
Just 30 will be built at around £2m each, with deliveries from 2023. Certainly a real head turner, and likely to go as fast as it looks, thanks to development input from the likes of Jacque Villeneuve.
