Profile |
|
The astounding Daytona SP3 is Ferrari's latest Icona series hypercar (after the Monza), named after their famous GT from the 1970s.
A whopping 830bhp is released from the V12 at almost 9500rpm, transmitted through Ferrari's excellent 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. 0-60mph takes just 2.7 sec, on to a 211mph max.
The stunning Centro Stile design has echoes of Ferrari's glorious past, with design elements from the P series sports prototypes of the 1960s, enhanced with enormous 345 section rear tyres. The chassis is courtesy of the La Ferrari.
599 units will be produced from 2022 at a cost of approximately £1.8m. Don't bother reaching for your cheque book though, as inevitably they were all sold (by invitation only) prior to even being built.
