The historic coachbuilding name of Radford has been revived by a team including Jenson Button and Ant Anstead to produce the desirable Type 62-2 sports car.
Based on a stretched Lotus Exige, complete with Toyota sourced supercharged V6, power ranges from 430hp to 600hp in the top spec JPS version. Max speed is a limited 186mph.
Handling and braking are as you'd expect from the former F1 champion, with Sport Cup 2's and Brembo ceramics as standard to cmplement this sub 1000Kg sports car.
The Lotus type 62 inspired carbon-fibre bodywork is gorgeous, particularly with the twin ducktail spoilers, and even features a solid gold manufacturer badge.
The interior has a simple, uncluttered layout, with the added curiosity of an exposed gear change mechanism.
62 examples will be built from 2023 with prices from £360k.
