2022 signalled the return of the infamous De Lorean brand, in the form of the 4-seater Alpha 5 electric sports car.
True to it's illustrious predecessor, the Alpha 5 comes with two huge gull-wing doors. In this case allowing access to both front and rear seats. The car is full of the latest innovative (but sometimes gimmicky) tech, including virtual 'hugs' from a connected wristband!
Most of the declared specification and performance are estimates at this time, SupercarWorld will update as more information becomes available. 0-60mph is due to take under 3 seconds, with a 155mph max and theoretical range of 300 miles from the 100 KwH battery.
Production of the first of 88 first edition models is scheduled to begin in 2024. A potential run of 9531 could be produced in total.
