First shown to the public at the 2022 Monteray Car Week, the exlusive Mulliner Batur coupe represents a fitting swansong, as Bentley approach a new all-electric era.
The familiar 6-litre twin-turbo W12 engine outputs over 730bhp, making it Bentley's most powerful road car to date. Torque is a healthy 1000 Nm. All 4 wheels are driven, through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Performance figures have yet to be released.
The car's appearance remains clearly Bentley, but points towards a new styling direction for their forthcoming electric cars. Biggest visual difference is the new narrowed headlamps. Inside, the 2-seater Batur is based on the already brilliant Continental GT, but with the addition of expensive bespoke components, such as gold-plated air vents.
Just 18 Baturs will be built from 2023 at an eye-watering £1.7m, plus options! Still cheaper than the Bacalar though.
