Displayed at the 1967 Frankfurt Auto Show, the Dino 206 Competizione coupled Ferrari Le Mans hardware with gorgeous Pininfarina bodywork.
Powered by a 2-litre V6 engine lifted directly from Ferrari's 1966 Le Mans racecar, the Dino had a modest (by today's standards) 218bhp output, but was super quick, thanks to a featherweight 1400 lbs kerb weight.
The swoops and curves of the gorgeous bodywork were the creation of Paolo Martin at Pininfarina, with the cutting edge (at the time) front and rear wings added just prior to release. The sparse interior was built in right-hand drive format.
The car was housed at Pininfarina's Cambiano museum, until purchased in 2008 by wealthy enthusiast Jim Glickenhaus, who generously displays it at shows such as Villa D'Este and Pebble Beach.
