Debuting at the 2021 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, the ultra exclusive Rolls Royce Boat Tail takes the title of the world's most expensive new car from Bugatti.
Constructed by Rolls Royce's Coachbuild division over a period of 4 years, the Boat Tail is powered by the Phantom's 563bhp twin-turbo V12 engine. It is however a totaly bespoke build, with almost 2000 new individual components.
The 1930s yacht inspired teak rear decking is the stand out design feature on the near 6-metre long bodywork. Customers were granted an unprecedented level of involvement in the bespoke design of their Boat Tails. Each features opulent luxury features such as designer timepieces and chic carbon-fibre picnic stools.
Three of these hand-built leviathons have been built, each costing their owners a simply staggering £20m. Yes, that is not a typo - twenty million pounds!
