BMW revealed the Vision M Next concept in 2019, as a potential succesor to the groundbreaking i8 supercar.
The Vision's hybrid powertrain brought a welcome power boost over the outgoing i8, with a total of 600hp from it's four cylinder turbo and twin electric motor combination. Acceleration from 0-60mph drops significantly to just 3 seconds, with an accompanying 186mph max. It could even travel up to 100km on electric alone.
Visually, the simplistic styling combines elements of the old i8 with the classic M1 to produce a striking design. The interior is sparse, but futuristic, being moulded around the driver.
Unfortunately, it appears that production has been shelved due to excessive development costs, meaning the Vision will remain as just a concept.
