Profile |
|
Phantom Automotive fitrst produced the GTR kit car back in 2005, before changing the company name and the model name to Vortex GTT around 2008.
Powered by a turbocharged 350bhp Ford 2.3 litre Duratech engine, the GTT will reach 60mph from rest in around 4 seconds. Weighing in at under 1150kg, this makes for a very respectible 300 bhp/ton power to weight ratio.
The gorgeous composite bodywork was designed by Chris Greville-Smith, with a mid-engine, 2 seater layout. Despite being offered as a kit car, the GTT still offers features such as PAS, A/C and electric windows/mirrors.
The GTT is available as either a self-build kit car project or as a fully completed build (for around £65k). There's even an electric powered option available.
