Gordon Murray Automotive have introduced the T33 Coupe and Spyder, as a more manageable, GT like alternative to the screaming track biased T50.
Powered by the same 4-litre Cosworth V12 as the T50, power is slightly down at 609bhp at a slightly lower (but still staggering) 10250rpm red line. As with the T50, transmission is through a 6-speed manual Xtrac box. No acceleration figures available yet, but top speed is quoted at 208mph.
The T33's body is classically beautiful, with a pleasing lack of aerodynamic peripherals. The targa style carbon-fibre roof can be stored in the front boot, with almost 300 litres of luggage space available. On the inside, the cabin is a driver focused place, but still keeps up to date with the latest wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto offerings.
Deliveries of the £1.4m coupe should begin in 2024, followed by the £1.8m Spider in 2025.
