Inspired by the Porsche 935 racecars of the 1970s, Singer have created the bepoke DLS Turbo restomod, their wildest reimaging yet
Based on the air cooled Porsche 964, Singer totally strip down the donor car and rework the engine. Output is now quoted at 700hp at a screaming 9000 rpm, all through the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual box. For ultimate stopping power, carbon ceramic brakes are standard.
In 'track' trim, the styling of the carbon fibre bodywork is reminiscent of the legendary 'Moby Dick', complete with enormous rear wing. Dramatic, rather than beautiful. However, customers also have the option of a toned down road spec build with a more subtle 'duck tail' spoiler
No word on price, but judging by the cost of the 'standard' DLS, expect something over £1m.
