Originally a virtual concept for video game racing, McLaren have now produced a limited run of track only, real world Solus GTs.
The Solus' naturally aspirated 5.2 litre V10 kicks out 830bhp, spinning all the way to 10000 rpm. Top speed is quoted at over 200mph with matching acceleration, thanks to a pared back 1000kg kerb weight.
The exterior design is pure racecar, with it's enhanced aero, wings and ground effect tunnels generating a ridiculous 1200 kg of downforce. Inside the fighter jet inspired canopy, the single seater interior is custom fitted to the individual, having the spartan layout associated with a race car such as this.
£3m is the asking price for each of the 25 limited edition production models.
