Polestar first revealed the desirable O2 concept roadster in 2022.
Based on the same aluminium chassis as the forthcoming Polestar 5, the O2 concept is a 2-seater roadster, powered by twin electric motors generating up to 884hp. The concept is designed to take over 110 kWh of battery power.
Exterior and interior design are both futuristic, partly constructed from recyclable thermoplastic materials. The O2 even features it's own onboard drone, designed to capture footage of the car while moving.
Polestar have now confirmed that the O2 concept will become a production car from 2026, renamed as the Polestar 6, starting with a run of 500 'LA Concept Editions' with the same spec as the O2.
