Ford launched the 7th generation Mustang GT in 2023, with the special edition 'Dark Horse' model following shortly after.
Power from the Coyote V8 now hits the 500hp mark (but only 450bhp in the UK), giving 0-60mph in just over 4 seconds and a quarter mile sprint in the mid 12s. A 6-speed Tremec manual is standard (with auto rev-matching), or you have the option of a 10-speed auto.
The four pipe exhaust system now has four noise settings - loud, louder, even louder and too loud!
Ford say this is the most track honed Mustang to date, with extra ducts and cooling over the standard model, along with a fixed rear wing and Maganaride adjustable dampers. The optional handling pack adds bigger alloys, high performance tyres and a front splitter - but sadly it's unavailable in the UK.
The interior boasts a state of the art twin 13 inch display that includes a mode to display classic 1980s instrumentation.
The Dark Horse will be available in the UK from 2024 at around the £60k mark.
