2024 sees Ford introduce the ultimate Mustang in the form of the track honed 202mph GTD.
No less than 815bhp and 900Nm are extracted from the 5.2 litre supercharged V8, while the suspension has been reworked with a sub 7 minute Nurburgring lap in mind (achiving a remarkable 6:47* lap in 2025, the fastest American car to ever lap the ring).
Visually the carbon fibre bodied GTD certainly looks the part, with a multitude of aero ducts and that huge rear wing. Inside the GTD is fairly standard, apart from the removal of the rear seats for weight saving.
Although normally known for their superb value for money, the limited edition GTD comes in at a whopping £315k in the UK - six times the cost of a standard Mk7. As great as it may be, you'd be hard pressed to consider the GTD value for money.
