Conceived as a rolling testbed for Alpine's hydrogen fueled powerplant, the Alpenglow was first show at the 2022 Paris Motor Show as a non-running concept.
Currently powered by a 340hp 4-cylinder unit sitting in a Ligier LMP chassis, Alpine are developing a more powerful V6 fueled by three highly compressed hygrogen tanks at 700 bar!
The Alpenglow's sleek, LM racecar type bodywork is absolutely stunning, particularly in the concept's blue paintwork, with some amazing transparent styling touches.
The first self-powered concept was shown at the 2024 Spa-Francorchamps Circuit. Although currently a concept, Alpine have hinted that the Alpenglow may yet see production in some form in the future. Fingers firmly crossed!
