Red Bull Advanced Technologies have entered the hypercar scene with the Adrian Newy designed RB17.
At the heart of this track only 2-seater is a naturally aspirated Cosworth V10 with an astonishing 15000rpm redline! A unique carbon fibre gearbox transmits over 1200hp to the rear wheels, promising 217mph and F1 level lap times. A sub 900kg kerb weight makes for an astonishing power to weight ratio of 1355 bhp/ton.
Just 50 RB17s will be produced from 2025, being revealed to the public at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The price? A figure of £6m has been mooted.
