The 512TR was more than just a restyled Testarossa. The looks had been updated into a more integrated shape but more than that power rose by 40bhp to give the new car a 190mph top speed. ABS was also made standard along with larger 18 inch wheels and an improved chassis to enhance the flagship's handling.
To reflect the look of the highly successful F355, 1994 saw the 512TR become the 512M. Further restyling included a 355 style front valance and glass covered headlamps. Power went up again, this time to a mighty 440bhp with top speed now an impressive 194mph.
