Inspired by MG's record breaking EX181 from the 1950's, MG chose the 2024 Beijing Motor Show to showcase their stunning electric hypercar concept, the EXE181.
Named after the car's extraordinary low 0.181 drag co-efficient, the electric hypercar is predicted to hit 0-60mph in under 2 seconds, matching the likes of Rimac and Pininfarina. MG have also intimated that the EXE181 will be faster than it's 1950's record breaking ancestor, namely 255mph+.
This smooth low drag concept features a central bubble shaped cockpit, with trailing teardop bodywork, leading to a rear mounted air brake. The wheels are covered by solid discs for optimum high speed efficiency.
The EXE181 made it's european debut to the public at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
