The gorgeous Midsummer barchetta represents a coachbuilding collaboration between Morgan and the famed Italian styling house Pininfarina.
The Midsummer is based on Morgan's current Plus Six, meaning a 335bhp straignt six from BMW, coupled to an 8-speed auto gearbox. Performance figures have not yet been released, but expect a 0-60 or around 4 seconds and 170mph max.
The sleek speedster bodywork incoporates traditional Morgan materials such as multilayered wood trim and hand formed aluminium detailing, but with a modern aluminium chassis. The classic interior has al the wood, leather and traditional instrumentation you'd expect from a Morgan.
Just 50 Midsummer's will be built from 2024 priced around the £200k mark. Sadly they are already allocated to eager collectors.
