Despite being founded a mere 15 years ago, Rimac have been able to hone their already ridiculouly fast Nevera to become even faster and driver focused in the form of the Nevera R.
Quad electric motors and a 108kWh Rimac battery pack now produce a staggering 2107hp, and 2340Nm of torque. Coupled with a lighter kerb weight, the Nevera R now sprints from 0-300kmh in an unbelievable 8.6 seconds, with a quarter mile in 8.2 sec and a quoted top speed of 256mph.
Visually dominated by the large fixed rear wing, the Nevera R has 15% more downforce and 10% smoother aero than the standard car. This, along with the new Evo 2 ceramic brakes and Cup 2 tyres, chops nearly 4 seconds from the car's lap time around the Nardo test track.
Just 40 units will be produced, priced at around £2.3m. Lets hope this injects some interest into the lacklustre demand for electric hypercars.
