Major Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi launched the very high performance SU7 Ultra electric saloon in 2024.
This state of the art hypercar has three electric motors spinning at 27000rpm to produce a substantial 1548hp. This enables the SU7 to hit 100kmh from rest in under 2 seconds, 200kmh in 5.9sec, on it's way to a 224mph max speed. Stopping power is equally impressive, braking from 60mph to zero in under 30 metres.
The prototype version of the SU7 set a 4-door saloon record around the Nurburgring with a blistering lap of just 6:46. The production version should be there or thereabouts.
Bodywork is aggressive, with aerodynamic spoilers, rear wing and adaptive diffuser - there's even a gold plated badge! The interior is tech laden and high quality, with Alcantara trim highlights in body colour.
Production began in early 2025, with the Ultra priced at a remarkably low 530,000 Yuan (the equivalent of just £60k in the UK), with 10000 units per year envisaged.
This must be the best value high performance car ever produced!
