Using the road going P1 as it's base (rather than the racing GTR) Lanzante weave their magic to create the road legal, track focused P1 HDK.
The HDK (High Downforce Kit) features bodywork, rear wing and aero from the P1 GTR, coupled with revised suspension and a bespoke ceramic exhaust system. On the inside, there are racing seats and full carbon fibre trim, although the bespoke nature of the HDK means that virtually anything is possible.
There is also the option of an uprated powerplant, most notably a 4-litre Cosworth unit pushing out around 1000hp and 1050Nm.
Laterly, the HDK has become available with the limited edition LM25 kit, celebrating the 25th anniversary of McLaren's triumph at Le Mans with the F1 GTR.
A predicted 9 models will be produced, but pricing is hard to come by. Some estimates put the HDK at around the $4m mark.
