Rolls Royce launched the exclusive Phanton Drophead Coupe in 2007.

Based on the Phantom Mk7 saloon, with inspiration from the 100ex concept, the Drophead retained Rolls' 6.75 litre V12. This allowed the car to waft to 60mph in around 6 seconds, despite weighing upwards of 2.5 tons.

The gorgeous exterior features two-tone paintwork (with 44000 colour combinations) teak decking, rear opening 'suicide' doors and a retractable 'Spirit of Ecstacy'. The interior is exquisite, save for the clunky i-Drive derived infotainment system.

A facelifted Series 2 version was produced from 2012 with an 8-speed auto box. At the time, this was the most expensive Rolls Royce ever produced at £330k. Used examples can still fetch at least that price today.
