1991 saw famed Italian design house Bertone produce the gorgeous Emotion concept, first show at that year's Detroit International Auto Show.
Based on a Lotus Esprit chassis, the Emotion was designed to be powered by the Esprit's 265hp 4-pot Turbo, but in reality, due to prohibitive production costs, was just a non-running concept.
Originally in green, then subsequently finished in Yellow, the Emotion was a diminutive but stunning looking car. With a cab forward stance, glass roof and proposed scissor doors, the Emotion would still look spectcular today.
The Emotion was allegedly pitched to and rejected by both Bugatti (for the EB110) and Lotus (to replace the Esprit) before finding it's final resting place in the Bertone Museum at Volandia.
