Profile |
|
Conceived by UK based GT Developments and with input from Le Mans legend Derek Bell, the lightweight composite Spectre R42 promised much. A 4.6 Litre V8 produced 350bhp providing admirable performance figures of 175mph and 0-60mph in well under 5 seconds.
Unfortunately, after a production run of just 23, the R42 then disappeared without trace from the marketplace, suffering the fate of so many small, specialist sports car manufacturers.
