The Lotus Theory 1 is an all-electric supercar concept that previews the brand's future design language and engineering philosophy, known as DNA (Digital, Natural, and Analogue).
Powertrain is a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering 986 hp, with performance of 0–62 mph in under 2.5 seconds and a top speed near 200 mph. It features a 70 kWh battery, targeting a 250-mile range and a curb weight under 3,500 lbs.
Layout is McLaren F1-inspired central driving position with seating for three and incorporates Lotuswear adaptive haptic textiles, 3D-printed headrest audio, rearward-sliding doors, and just 10 primary surface materials for enhanced sustainability.
Although currently just a concept, production of a modified hybrid powered V8 version looks like it could happen as early as 2027.
