An evolution of the beautiful 308, the 328GTB was introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show of 1985.
From the outside there was little difference (why change perfection?) apart from a restyled front valance, the major changes being a completely restyled interior and uprated engine. Fuel injection arrived and capacity went up to 3.2 litres with power up another 30bhp to 270.
ABS was available from 1988 then the model remained the same until its replacement by the 348 in 1989. With over 20,000 units sold, the 308/328 combination was by far the most successful car in Ferrari's history.
