The limited run 993 Turbo S was Porsche's final celebration of the legendary air cooled 911. No less than 450bhp was produced from the Turbo's flat 6 enabling the pocket rocket to dip under 4sec for the sprint to 60mph and on to a near 190mph maximum.
The colour coded interior was finely trimmed in carbon fibre and leather while the exterior sported bespoke alloys and a new bi-plane rear spoiler. Roadholding was superb thanks to lowered and stiffened suspension, surpassed only by the level of braking produced by the 32cm cross drilled, vented disks.
The 911 had now come of age, finally matching the power and performance of the legendary 959.
