Profile |
|
Aimed at those who want the ultimate in handling from their 'Vette, the Z06 is the most powerful factory car ever produced by Chevrolet.
Performance comes from a 400bhp V8 while weight is down on the Corvette C5 thanks to measures such as thinner glass and a Titanium exhaust. With a significant power to weight advantage over the C5 performance is superb with a standing quarter taking just 12.0 seconds (equal to a Ferrari F40).
Although superb in a straight line, what sets the Z06 apart from its predecessors is awesome handling. A stiffer chassis plus electronic traction and handling controls make this Corvette a match for the very best Europe has to offer.
