The amazing Bulldog was created as a showcase for Aston Martin's Tickford specialist engineering division and was by far the fastest car of its day.
Twin Turbos adorned the 5.3L V8 producing a mighty 650bhp - enough for 0-60mph in under 5 seconds and onto a verified maximum speed of 192mph (projections of up to 237mph were postualted, but never verified).
The stunning William Towns 'wedge' design featured a cluster of five centrally mounted headlamps and distinctive gull-wing doors. The luxuriosly appopinted interior features futuristic LED switchgear, as found in Aston's Lagonda saloon.
Even though 20 units were planned for production, just one was produced. This sold for £130,000 in 1984. A recent (2020) restoration by new owner Phillip Sarofim is now underway.
