The Elise Sport 190 isn't a production car in the strictest sense but actually a 'trackday package' from Lotus Motorsport that can be added to a standard S2 Elise. Whichever way you look at it though, it is definitely a phenomenal track tool.
Power is up by 70bhp on the standard Elise (a 60% increase!), enough to give the lightweight 190 supercar worrying acceleration. Racing modifications include AP racing brakes and pads, adjustable dampers and stiffer springs for ultimate track day grip - further enhance by the optional Exige wheels and tyres.
The 190 comes in at around £33,000, or about £10k over the cost of a standard Elise. For track day excellence (and the occasional road journey) nothing much comes close at the price.
