The new Viper SRT-10 brings back the open top muscle car first seen in the original RT10, but now with a toned-down smoother appearance.

The appearance may be milder but the performance certainly isn't. 500bhp and 500lbft are provided by the gargantuan 8.3L V10 - the largest capacity engine ever offered in a production car. Couple that with a 100lb weight saving then sub 4 second 0-60mph sprints and a top speed over 185 mph are the result.

Fortunately for us, Dodge have now decided to market the SRT-10 in the UK at around the £75k mark. Left hand drive only to start with, followed by RHD in 2004.
