Profile

Featuring no less than two 190bhp Kawasaki ZX12 superbike engines, the astounding Tiger Z100WR laid claim to being the world's fastest accelerating current production car with 0-60mph in a mere 2.8sec.

Traction is aided by four wheel drive, with power routed through a synchronised 6-speed sequential gearbox. At just 650kg the lightweight Lotus Seven style body gives the Z100WR a near 600bhp/ton power to weight ratio - far exceeding rivals such as the McLaren F1 or Caterham R500.

Once reliability is up to production standards, then the 40k Tiger should make one of the best value (and certainly the fastest) track day cars on the market.
