Profile |
|
Featuring no less than two 190bhp Kawasaki ZX12 superbike engines, the astounding Tiger Z100WR laid claim to being the world's fastest accelerating current production car with 0-60mph in a mere 2.8sec.
Traction is aided by four wheel drive, with power routed through a synchronised 6-speed sequential gearbox. At just 650kg the lightweight Lotus Seven style body gives the Z100WR a near 600bhp/ton power to weight ratio - far exceeding rivals such as the McLaren F1 or Caterham R500.
Once reliability is up to production standards, then the £40k Tiger should make one of the best value (and certainly the fastest) track day cars on the market.
