Seemingly left behind in the ever spiralling power race, Mercedes hit back with the awesome 469bhp E55 AMG. Not only is it faster than it's M5, XJR and RS6 rivals, but it can now lay claim to be the most powerful production saloon car in the world.
The E55 actually shares it's engine with the SL55, but is rated 30bhp lower to keep the Mercedes pecking order in place. Performance is not just good, it's astronomical. 0-200kmh takes just 16 seconds - as fast as a Ferrari GTO! But along with that performance comes luxury, with speed sensitive steering, electro hydraulic brakes and air suspension.
