Profile |
|
Invicta, a small independent British company has revived a famous name from the motoring world of the 1930's. They join in a long line of specialist British manufacturers attempting to take a foothold in the lucrative performance coupe market.
The S1 has an impactful, if not particularly beautiful appearance with some features reminiscent of an Aston Martin. Power is provided by Ford's 4.6 litre V8 (as found in the new Mustang) which makes for lively performance. Braking is up to the task thanks to powerful AP sourced racing brakes.
The A1 is solidly built but is perhaps still a work in progress. Sadly, the S1 ceased production in 2012 when the Invicta car company was wound up.
