Profile |
|
British manufacturer Leading Edge enter the track day fray with their latest offering the 240RT. Based on the now defunct Tommy Kaira ZZ, the 240RT is a raw, bare bones construction, built by low volume specialists Breckland Technology .
It offers nothing in the way of creature comforts which only goes to reinforce its race car credentials. Sporting a tuned 2 litre Nissan Primera powerplant punching out 240bhp, standing start acceleration to 60mph from rest in well under 5 seconds. All in all the 240RT offers a viable alternative to established rivals from Lotus, Caterham and Westfield.
